I have been teaching since 2016 and I feel that it is imperative that learning is built on strong relationships between teacher and student. These experiences have given me strong understanding of how to create an environment where students feel confident to ask questions and make mistakes as part of their learning journey. My lessons are engaging and interactive, this is done through questioning techniques that encourage you to think critically and develop your understanding step by step. I am always looking for the best way to combine subject-specific content with real-world concepts, this helps to break down complex ideas and makes them relevant to your everyday life. Please may I also bring to your attention that my teaching approach focuses on making sure you understand the "why" behind concepts, not just the "what." Some prospective methods that I bring to my sessions include breaking down challenging topics into manageable parts, using practical examples from technology and everyday situations, and encouraging active participation through discussion and problem-solving activities. I have experience teaching across all key stages from KS3 through to A Level, and I have also worked with adult learners in professional apprenticeship programmes with organisations such as Barclays and Meta. By taking this approach we will be able to ensure that learning is meaningful and stays with you beyond the lesson. All successful learning relationships need to have clear communication and shared objectives amongst teacher and student in order to be effective, and I am committed to working with you to achieve your academic aspirations whilst building your confidence in the subject.
