I believe that the most effective learning begins with a strong relationship. While developing mathematical knowledge is, of course, essential, I have found that students make the greatest progress when they feel comfortable, supported and genuinely understood. My approach is built on creating a positive, encouraging environment where students are never afraid to ask questions, make mistakes or challenge themselves. I take the time to get to know each student as an individual; their strengths, interests, learning style and personal goals, so that every lesson is tailored to their needs. By building trust and confidence first, I help students develop a more positive mindset towards maths, allowing them to engage more deeply with the subject and reach their full potential.

I always strive to make every lesson enjoyable, engaging and rewarding, celebrating progress along the way, no matter how small. Whether a student is aiming for top grades, preparing for important exams or simply looking to regain confidence after finding maths difficult, my goal is always the same: to help them believe in their own ability.
