My lessons are essentially an interactive conversation driven by my genuine obsession with the social sciences. Having an MA in Gender and Sexuality and a BA in Anthropology, I love helping students see how these subjects shape the world we live in. I also have 2 A* and 2 A at A-Level in social sciences and humanities. I offer expert tutoring in Sociology, History, Anthropology, and Politics across all levels, as well as specialised support for Personal Statements, essay writing skills, and the EPQ. My style is completely adaptable to your goals: we can spend our time diving deep into complex theories for the sheer love of the subject, or we can pivot into a laser-focused exam bootcamp. When we go the exam route, I get very specific—we’ll deconstruct mark schemes, master those tricky "command words," and drill past paper techniques until you feel bulletproof under pressure.

As a former Supply TA and current education charity worker, I’ve learned that no two students learn the same way. In our sessions, we might use "plan-with-me" sessions to live-map an essay, or use real-world case studies to make abstract politics or sociology concepts feel concrete. For KS3 and GCSE students, I keep things high-energy and accessible to build that initial confidence. For A-Level and Degree students, we shift into academic rigour, focusing on critical analysis and refining your "academic voice." Because I’m DBS-checked and safeguarding-trained, you’re getting a professional and safe space to learn. I am happy to work with you online or travel to your home for in-person sessions.
