Art has always been my language of expression — a way to see and understand the world creatively. As an Art and Design educator trained through the UCL PGCE, I’ve taught students across secondary schools and community settings, helping them build both confidence and technique in drawing, painting, and mixed media.
I designed and delivered lessons to students of different ages and abilities, adapting my approach to meet individual learning needs. I enjoyed watching students gain confidence in their creative voice — from beginners learning basic forms and shading to advanced learners refining their portfolio pieces. I also supported classes in graphics, textiles, and photography, which strengthened my ability to connect artistic concepts across disciplines.
Having studied, travelled, and lived in different countries, I bring a broad cultural understanding and an international perspective to my teaching. Alongside traditional art forms, I incorporate animation, video art, and digital illustration, helping students explore new ways to express their ideas. My teaching style is open and flexible, equally effective in both one-to-one and group settings, whether online or in person.
I believe drawing is not just about skill, but about exploration and mindset. My lessons encourage experimentation, storytelling, and visual problem-solving, while still developing a strong foundation in technical accuracy. I create a calm, encouraging environment where learners feel inspired to express themselves and take creative risks.
With a solid background in art practice, professional training, and a genuine passion for teaching, I’m excited to help students at FindTutors discover joy, confidence, and self-expression through drawing.
