I spent between the ages of 5 and 13 living in Spain where I attended an all spanish school in Alicante. I did not speak any spanish when I arrived in Spain and I was placed in a classroom and forced to learn the language. I made a lot of spanish, colombian, mexican and ecuadorian friends while I was living there which all speak the same language just with different accents. At thirteen I decided to move back to England with my dad where I finished my last 3 years of Highschool. The spanish teacher at my school would often pull me out of lessons to help her out when she was unsure of how to say certain words/sentences. The head teacher decided to allow me to chose french as a GCSE aswel as spanish, as there would be no point in me sitting through the lessons because I was so advanced. I sat all the exams at the end of my final year and I passed them all and recieved an A* in GCSE spanish. At the age of 16, only a month after finishing highschool, I decided to move back to Spain by myself and spent a year and a half living there. I needed to find some way of making money so I decided to advertise myself as an english tutor. I gained a few students of all ages whilst I was there and I was much better at it than I thought I would be. I taught mainly adults who just wanted to learn basic english, but I did have some students who all ended up passing english in school thanks to what I had taught them. I returned to England and have since been working as a maintenance manager in a pub/nightclub. It is only now that I have decided to go back to tutoring so that I can do some good and help people learn a new skill which could possibly change their life. So no matter who you are, wether you know any of the language or none at all, I can assure you that if you want it bad enough you will definitely learn with me.
