I am an experienced music educator and creative development coach working for over 15 years as Senior Lecturer in Popular Music in Higher Education (University), leading creative development, entrepreneurship, instrumental skills and techniques, performance skills and arranging and composing modules. I am an experienced music educator and creative development coach working for over 15 years as Senior Lecturer in Popular Music in Higher Education (University), leading creative development, entrepreneurship, instrumental skills and techniques, performance skills and arranging and composing modules. I have experience working with children (from 8 years upwards) and adults and place enabling creativity and connection at the heart of my teaching methods.

I believe strongly in the importance of champions and gate-openers in the creative industries and as a musician, songwriter and vocal-arranger: I bring my own experience of the challenges and rewards of creative life into supporting others and believe lessons and mentoring should be joyful and safe.
