Our learning routes allow you to learn Spanish in a natural and in-depth way. We offer you the structure and support that can make the difference between playing with a language and truly mastering it.

1. Acquire a base

Getting familiar with the pronunciation, learning the nouns and verbs most used in daily life, as well as a minimum of grammar, will give you the ability to start forming simple sentences. This is essential for developing a strong language base and will help build your confidence. Once you know the basics of the language, it will be much easier and faster for you to progress in your learning.

2. Learn vocabulary

General vocabulary (organized into 7 different levels, A0 - C2), to delve into more professional areas. You can learn this vocabulary in context (phrases and texts). Our vocabulary collection currently consists of more than 25,000 phrases and words.

3. Learn grammar rules

Grammar is the set of rules that explain how to use a language. It is the key to understanding how the language works. In our opinion, it is not possible to learn a foreign language without having some understanding of its grammar. Once the student has learned basic words, the next logical step is to learn how the parts of a sentence are related. Without understanding the grammar it is not possible to form correct sentences. So the question is not whether we should learn grammar or not, but how we should learn it. With our learning paths you can be confident that you will learn the necessary grammar at the right time, in a way that you start to fill in the missing pieces of your puzzle. Little by little, you will see the language from a new perspective and with each aha moment (yes, of course, indeed) that you experience, your personal satisfaction and confidence will increase.

4. Improve written expression

Having basic writing skills means being able to get your message across. Once you know the pronunciation rules (most letters in Spanish only have one sound, so it's pretty straightforward), the best way to develop written expression is to write and be corrected. Our pronunciation course will help you develop this skill.

5. Improve listening comprehension

When we start learning our mother tongue, we spend the first two years listening to our parents and trying to reproduce the sounds they make. When we start to form sentences, we make a lot of mistakes. However, we need to understand what we hear in order to speak well, and as we continue to listen and correct our mistakes, step by step we will become fluent in the language.
Lengalia offers more than 35,000 clearly pronounced audios, 65 podcasts and numerous videos at different levels of difficulty, each with its respective transcription.

6. Use the language

When should I start speaking Spanish? This depends a bit on you and your personal situation. We recommend spending the first stage of your learning learning vocabulary and improving your other language skills until you are better able to understand what other people are saying, and can thus give an answer that makes sense.
Conversation practice will help you gain confidence. It's an opportunity to make mistakes... and learn from them. It will give you concrete evidence that you are improving and you will begin to live the language, not just learn it. To do this, you can use one of the many web pages dedicated to connecting language partners from all over the world to chat or send emails (thus also improving your written expression).

7. Perfect the language

To deepen your knowledge of Spanish in professional fields and for different specific purposes (EFE). These courses will allow you to expand both this specialized vocabulary and the grammatical structures of this professional field.

The beauty of language is that it can be used to express an unlimited set of ideas and concepts. Although this requires an understanding of grammar, the good news is that Spanish grammar is not as difficult as most people think. After all, learning Spanish does not have to be expensive and it can also be an enriching experience.
