Esperanza Castillo Dennis

Hello, my name is Esperanza Castillo, and I am a native Chilean and British language tutor with a deep passion for teaching. My journey in education began as a self-taught homeschooler, where I immersed myself in the study of classical Latin, Spanish, english as well as various other subjects. This experience taught me the importance of learning at a personalized pace, allowing for a deeper understanding and mastery of complex material.

Having lived in both Spanish and English-speaking countries, I understand firsthand the challenges of learning a new language in an environment where your native language is dominant. I know how difficult it can be to find opportunities to practice and develop your skills, and that's why I am dedicated to making the learning process easier and more accessible for my students.

In addition to my language studies, I have worked extensively as a swimming instructor, which has given me valuable insights into how to connect with children and cater to their unique learning needs. I understand that each student has their own rhythm, and I am committed to creating a comfortable and supportive environment where they can thrive.
In my one-on-one Spanish tutoring sessions, I focus on helping students improve their grammar, listening, and speaking skills. I integrate cultural insights and precise pronunciation to ensure a well-rounded learning experience. My goal is to help you or your child achieve fluency and confidence in Spanish, all while progressing at a pace that feels right for you. Whether you are a beginner or looking to refine your skills, I am here to guide you on this exciting language journey.
