My core teaching skills are centred on practical, inclusive and student-focused learning. I adapt my teaching to different abilities, learning styles and levels of technical confidence, providing clear guidance and constructive feedback. I use student engagement and feedback to improve my practice and support individual progress. I collaborate with teaching and technical colleagues to develop relevant resources and accessible learning. My aim is to build students’ confidence, technical skills and independence, enabling them to achieve their learning outcomes.

I listen to students, identify individual learning needs and provide appropriate guidance and constructive feedback to help them recognise their progress and address areas for development.

Collaboration is an important part of my professional practice. I work closely with teaching and technical colleagues, cross-reference teaching materials, adapt lesson content and introduce additional resources where required. This helps ensure that learning is relevant, accessible and responsive to students’ needs.

I also value student engagement and feedback as important tools for evaluating and improving my teaching. My aim is to create an approachable and supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged to participate, develop their skills and achieve their learning outcomes.
