My lessons are designed to make learning feel organised, understandable and genuinely useful. Students often come to me feeling stuck, unsure where to begin or worried that they’re simply not “getting it”. I start by finding out where you are right now, what you’re aiming for and what’s been getting in your way. From there, I build sessions around your needs rather than forcing you into a rigid structure.
Each lesson has a clear flow. We begin with a short check-in and a recap to make sure there are no lingering gaps. I break topics down into manageable pieces and explain ideas in a straightforward way so you can see the logic behind them. Whether we’re working on academic content, study skills or personal development, I want you to understand why something works, not just follow instructions without context.
I use a mix of explanation, discussion and practical tasks. That might mean exploring new content, working through examples, developing exam technique, planning your workload or improving your decision making. You’re encouraged to ask questions at any time. If something isn’t clicking, we adjust the approach until it does. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all teaching; every student learns differently, and my job is to help you discover the method that suits you best.
My professional background is in technology consulting, which means I’m used to breaking down complex problems, helping people think clearly and supporting them through challenges. That experience shapes how I teach and coach. You get guidance that’s practical, realistic and grounded in real-world problem solving.
By the end of each session, my goal is that you feel more confident, more capable and better equipped to move forward on your own.
