I like to jam and get my students feeling comfortable playing and making mistakes, we learn from our mistakes and I’m not a strict or harsh teacher, I like to engage in conversations and figure out how each of my students learn, then I create a tailor made plan, and if something’s not working then I’m quick to change it.

I’m passionate about constant improvement and pushing my students to be the best they can be, when I first started learning I had tutors that didn’t encourage this and I found it difficult to stay motivated by playing the same things week after week, if you’re looking for a someone who will teach you grades and outdated methods then I’m not the person for you, but for fun and engaging lessons with lots of jams and interesting discussions then I’m definitely the tutor for you.

My experience in the industry has meant I’ve been able to travel the world playing music and record with some amazing artists, I was in a band called ‘Riscas’ for 5 years and we had some great success, in the band I was the main songwriter and I’ve had to learn, adapt and grow to improve my playing and writing, these types of skills I will help to teach you and also guide you the best I can, if the music industry is the direction you want to go then I have great contacts and a whole world of knowledge I can’t wait to share with you!
