I have taught English as a second language abroad in korea, supported ESL in nursery schools in England, and tutored adults for both language practice and perfecting their conversational skills. I worked alongside a translation company, helping reword their direct translations to make them more marketable for advertising or flow better for audio transcription. I have experience in tutoring children from 13 months -13 years, then adults from 18 up. I am able to tailor the lessons to meet the requirements of the student and aim to keep language learning as fun and non-stressful as possible. I hope to create an environment where the students feels supported and able to ask questions, as well as be a lead partner in their learning experience. I am happy to work from study books, go over work from school that needs more practice or clarification, do reading sessions and more basic learning with young students, or just run conversation sessions to help hone those small-talk skills :)
