Emma Rivalin

Hello! I’m Emma, a native French speaker currently studying English at university in London. I have always been passionate about languages, literature and cultural exchange, and I would love to share my knowledge of French with learners who want to improve their language skills in a friendly and supportive environment.

I have previous tutoring experience, particularly in English, where I have supported first-year preparatory students with grammar, translation and literary analysis. I have also worked with children, which has taught me to be patient, attentive and adaptable to different personalities and learning styles.

My French lessons can be adapted to your level, goals and interests. Whether you are a complete beginner, preparing for an exam, studying French at school or university, or simply looking to become more confident in everyday conversation, I will tailor our sessions to what you need.

Depending on your objectives, we can work on conversation, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, reading, writing or listening comprehension. I particularly like making lessons interactive and practical, using real-life situations, discussions and interesting topics rather than relying only on traditional exercises.

As a native French speaker and a student with a strong academic background in languages and humanities, I can also help you discover French culture, literature and everyday expressions while improving your language skills.

My aim is to create a relaxed space where you can ask questions, make mistakes and gain confidence. Every learner is different, so I will take the time to understand your needs and adapt my teaching accordingly. I look forward to helping you enjoy learning French!
