I am a fully qualified science teacher with extensive experience supporting children and young people with SEND, including ADHD, autism, anxiety, and SEMH. I specialise in GCSE Science, and I also provide supportive, confidence-building tuition in Functional skills and GCSE Maths and English.
My lessons are carefully adapted to suit each learner’s individual needs. I focus on breaking down complex topics into clear, manageable steps, using structured explanations, repetition, and exam-focused practice to help students truly understand—not just memorise—the content.
I create a calm, patient, and encouraging learning environment, which is especially important for students who may feel overwhelmed, anxious, or disengaged in school. Many of my students have struggled previously in mainstream settings, and I take pride in helping them rebuild confidence and make steady, measurable progress.
