Bonjour! I’m an enthusiastic and patient French tutor offering personalised online lessons for students of all ages and abilities. Whether you’re a complete beginner, preparing for GCSEs/A-Levels, travelling to France, or simply looking to improve your conversational skills, I can help.

My lessons are friendly, engaging, and tailored to your individual goals. We can work on speaking, pronunciation, grammar, vocab, reading and writing, using practical exercises and real-life conversations to make learning enjoyable and effective.

I believe that building confidence is just as important as learning grammar, so I encourage students to speak French from the very beginning in a relaxed and supportive environment with English speaking limited as much as possible to better allow for language immersion. There will therefore be a healthy mix of practical exercises and assessments alongside more casual conversation.

Having graduated with a first class and distinction in spoken French in French Studies with History from University of London Institute in Paris, I spent the past three years living in the capital and was thus given the incredible opportunity to fully explore the French language and culture. I acquired an advanced level of French all whilst navigating the country's bureaucracy and ways of life. As a result, I gained a larger range of vocabulary and knowledge available to students in typical French lessons which can be incorporated into my lessons, particularly for adult learners. I have three years of experience in encouraging language and cultural immersion in a French/English bilingual setting.

Lessons are typically 60-90 minutes and take place online (or in person if based in Preston) at a time that suits you.
