My lessons are structured, engaging, and focused on helping students understand psychology in a way that actually sticks, not just memorising content for exams.

I typically begin by breaking down key concepts into clear, simple explanations, using real-life examples so students can see how theories apply beyond the textbook. Lessons are interactive, with regular questioning, discussion, and short tasks to check understanding and build confidence.

A strong emphasis is placed on exam technique. I guide students on how to structure high-level answers, apply research effectively, and avoid common mistakes, so they can consistently achieve top grades.

I adapt my teaching to each student’s needs, whether that means reinforcing foundational knowledge, improving essay writing, or stretching high-achieving students towards A/A* performance.

Alongside subject knowledge, I bring a focus on mindset and motivation. I help students manage exam pressure, build confidence, and develop effective study habits, so they can perform at their best.

I have experience working with young people and understand how to create a calm, supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and pushing themselves academically.
