Start off by planning what their strengths and weaknesses are, understand their learning patterns and start from there start of with guidance on how to solve things and give them a chance to learn on the skills iv shown and other ways to improve their learning, then to give them more questions and guidance and then step back and for them to do it themselves while i’m there to help.

If they don’t understand my way I’ll show them a more run down way of doing the problems, at the end of each session I’d give them task sheets to complete throughout the week for them to practice on their own terms to help them gain a better understanding of the situation.

My lessons will be fun and interactive for the children and teenagers to do and by doing this I’ll be asking questions, getting them involved in my questions and helping them to gain the confidence and knowledge of maths to which they are going to need.

My aim for this is to help the younger people to have a strength in maths while learning different ways to achieve this
