My lessons are designed to be friendly, supportive, and tailored to each student’s individual needs, whether they are looking to improve their understanding of Psychology, prepare for exams, or build confidence with their written work.

I begin each session by identifying the student’s current strengths, areas for improvement, and personal goals. Lessons are structured around the topics they find most challenging, using clear explanations, examples, and discussions to help develop a deeper understanding of psychological concepts. I encourage students to ask questions and actively engage with the material, as I believe this helps build confidence and long-term understanding.

Sessions can include reviewing key theories and studies, breaking down difficult concepts, developing essay plans, practising evaluation skills, and improving exam technique. I focus on helping students understand how to apply psychological evidence effectively, rather than simply memorising information. Where appropriate, I use practice questions and exam-style activities to help students become more confident in approaching assessments.

I am currently studying a BPS-accredited Psychology degree, where I have developed strong knowledge of psychological theory, research methods, critical evaluation, and academic writing. I also have experience in leadership and supporting others through my role as a manager, where I regularly train, guide, and motivate team members with different learning styles and abilities.

My aim is to create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and developing their skills. I want students to not only achieve better results but also develop a genuine interest and appreciation for Psychology as a subject.
