I hold a BA in English Language and Literature from Oxford University and have been tutoring international and home students for three years. I am an experienced tutor offering lesson in both English as a Second Language and English Literature.

I have experience teaching IELTs, UKIset, and general English skills to primary, secondary and young adults--and have taught from beginner to intermediate level English. I have access to a wide range of textbooks and resources, utilized through structured lesson plans and course of study plans to guarantee your success and confidence!

I am experienced in teaching English Literature to both native English speakers and internationals, with over two years of experience working with Chinese and Indian students looking to access top level UK secondary schools and universities. I have experience teaching OCR, Edexcel, AQA, CIE, 11+, 13+, 14+, 16+, IB and A-Level.

My teaching style begins with a primary lesson, where I can find out more about you, your level, and your needs. After this session, I will create an in depth summary of your level, and what we can work on to get you where you want to be. I will then draft a course of study plan for the next 3-6 months of lessons, detailing what we will cover and why. This allows us to set clear targets for progress and achievements. This program will be included for both ESL and English Literature lessons.

I also have experience tutoring for admissions, both to top level universities and secondary schools. I have access to materials to help aid in the 11+, 13+, 14+, and 16+. I am also versed at tutoring for the ELAT (English Literature Admissions Test) for Oxford and Cambridge. An admissions program will see a break down of potential schools, and set up targets for what you need to do to get there.
