My lessons will make maths fun and exciting for you, they will be interactive, a lot of thinking and brainstorming, problem solving (which is a skill a lot of industries like for their employees to have), etc.

My lessons will mainly be on solving questions, getting used to how questions are asked, focusing on how to tackle harder questions, going through each topic that is meant to be learnt for that year and the topics that the student has trouble with especially, what to do when stuck on a question, exam/test advise, ways to revise and practice what is learnt outside lesson and school, and how to well manage time during tests/exams. I have been doing maths as a subject since primary school and my interest has been growing ever since, at GCSE I achieved a grade 9 (A*) and as of now I take A level maths and further maths and have achieved a predicted UCAS grades of A and B at year 12.

In terms of being able to get ideas across and making sure that the student understands what is being taught, I am part of a homework club at my school in which students at sixth form help students in younger year groups with their maths which has strengthened my skills in explaining and presenting, making it easier for the student to understand what I'm explaining.

There is a consistency in the feedback the students have given to me which has made me realise I need to take them more through my thought process when answering questions and explaining to them, what I'm thinking and why I'm thinking that, discussing it and also hearing how the students would also tackle the question making the lessons more interactive and less sort of just "1+1=2"
