Elsa Barratt

I love learning and teaching languages and I've been teaching languages for over 10 years. My experience ranges from teaching Italian conversation to adults, to teaching English to primary school children, to supporting Masters students with their academic English, to teaching Italian translation classes at university level.... a bit of everything! I'm comfortable teaching all ages and language levels in English and Italian, and am happy to teach online or in-person. Whatever works for you!

My lessons always begin with a conversation with you about what your aims and desired outcomes are. I then plan a programme to help you reach your language goals. I strive to keep lessons fun, engaging and interactive. There are opportunities to develop across all language skills - listening, reading, writing and speaking.

As well as my extensive experience, I also hold a DipTESOL (Level 7) qualification in teaching English. I really enjoyed studying for this as it has enabled me to become a more confident in innovative teaching methodologies.
