My lessons are tailored to each individual's needs. Therefore, we will establish our goal together before starting our lessons. Whether you want to learn from scratch, or you need extra support as a student, we'll devise a plan to help you achieve this goal.

Typical lessons include listening, reading, speaking and writing activities, with homework to complete for the next lesson. A vocabulary sheet to complete is also given, to make learning more active. Each lesson will build on the previous one, and be adapted to the student's rythm and the goal to achieve.

For students preparing for exams, every lesson will include exercices from past papers, correction according to assessment criteria, feedback and clarification of difficulties encountered, as well as vocabulary drilling practice. Help for time management, strategies to approach the different papers questions and tips on how to improvise when blanking out are given throughout every lesson.

The hardest parts of French are vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation, so I make sure all my lessons include listening/speaking activities, as well as grammar. By playing games, listening to songs and using other authentic documents, not only are these more fun but also help understand the different aspects of culture!

Extra resources for students to explore on their own spare time, such as podcasts, news, magazines, pages, artists or history are also given according to the student's interests. In the end, not only will you improve your communication skills in French, but you'll get the chance to learn more about the culture :)
