The format I would use is a face time call on an app of their choice, teams, skype, zoom etc... The content I would deliver would be unit 2 WJEC A level Law of tort, where I would provide the students with exam techniques and analysis necessary for them to pass there exam efficaciously. We would cover, negligence, theory, occupiers liability, remedies, evaluation and application. The dynamics of my lesson would be very casual, giving the student the environment needed to be able to question and apply their knowledge effectively to my tutoring sessions. My experience as a student, allows me to understand what my students are going through, hence allowing me to understand how to deliver the best possible sessions that I can, which may not usually happen within their school. I have continuously performed well in this subject and I believe I can give these pupils the knowledge and passion for law that I have.
I would utilise a shared power point presentation, where I would ask the student questions and allow them to engage in other activities such as past paper questions, peer marking, analysis of texts etc.. that will help them in their unit 2 exam. I will mark any and all work they would like me to, giving them relevant feedback to make sure that they understand the content and can apply their improvements to future work. This will allow them to produce their absolute best work in the exam, which could improve their future prospects, job opportunities or give them the confidence they need to progress onto a university of their choice, if that is the route they are deciding to go down.
