My lessons are designed to be friendly, supportive and adapted to each student's individual needs. I understand that everyone learns differently, so I aim to explain mathematical concepts clearly, break down difficult questions into manageable steps and give students time to practise at their own pace.

I studied Maths at A-level and have developed strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills through my degree in Spatial and Interior Design. I would like to bring this creativity into my lessons by using relatable examples and different ways of explaining concepts to make maths easier to understand.

A typical lesson could include reviewing a topic, working through examples together, practising questions and identifying areas where the student needs extra support. I want students to feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes, as these are important parts of learning.

I can offer support with foundational maths, including arithmetic, times tables, fractions, decimals and other topics appropriate to the student's level. My aim is to help students build confidence, strengthen their understanding and recognise their own progress.

As a new tutor, I am keen to develop my teaching skills and create a positive learning environment where students feel encouraged and supported. I believe patience, clear communication and a willingness to adapt are important qualities in helping students succeed.

I also believe that learning should be engaging rather than overwhelming. I will encourage students to celebrate small achievements and recognise the progress they make over time. By keeping lessons structured but flexible, I hope to help students develop independent learning skills that they can use both in the classroom and when completing homework or preparing for assessments.
