I am a qualified Primary school teacher who genuinely enjoys helping children grow in confidence and understand what they are capable of. I am calm, patient and supportive, and I work hard to create a learning environment where your child feels safe to try, make mistakes and improve. Building positive relationships and helping children feel proud of their progress is central to how I work.

I have taught across KS1 and KS2 in whole-class, small-group and 1:1 settings. I have strong subject knowledge in all primary areas, with particular experience supporting pupils in reading, writing, grammar and maths. I’ve delivered targeted Year 6 SATs preparation and personalised interventions for children who need extra guidance or confidence. I’m very familiar with the National Curriculum and adapt it effectively for a wide range of learners.

My tutoring is personalised, structured and confidence-building. A typical lesson starts with a quick check of what your child already understands and where they need extra support and guidance, followed by clear modelling, guided practice and short, focused tasks. I use calm, encouraging dialogue and practical strategies to keep learning purposeful but enjoyable. Each session ends with a brief review so that your child knows exactly what they’ve achieved and their next steps.
