Depending on age and how you best learn will help direct the lessons e.g visual learner. There will be a quizzes at the end of the topic that are out of 10 to see were you are at. My students get to pick which topics they would like to do first and in wich order. Calculators are allowed but I will always encourage them to be used as a last resort.
