Hi there, I am a recent graduate from the University of Edinburgh and I have a BA in Spanish language. I have recently spent a year teaching in primary schools in Spain and speak Spanish to a near native level. I have experience with a range of ages from 4-12 and am comfortable working with different students of different ages. My lessons are generally interactive and activity based instead of solely based on exercise books, however I try to combine the different skills required to speak Spanish including listening, reading, writing and speaking. If there is a specific area of interest or importance to the students I am very happy to focus on that too.
I like to discuss with my students their aims and interests before planning classes so I can create classes that are the right skill level and also interest the student. I also like to create feedback time at the end of each class to give my students a chance to suggest improvements or changes and indicate what they are interested in learning next week so I can plan my lessons around them. I enjoy creating different activities each week to avoid repetition or boredom but my primary aim to create a class that suits my students and leaves them excited for our next session. Please get in touch if you want to learn more about my teaching, experience, approach or qualifications. I look forward to meeting my new students and helping you achieve your language goals!
