I have spent the past 3 years as a Mathematics tutor at Glasgow University and have spent 2 years tutoring as a teaching assistant while studying at Utrecht University. During these roles I taught both groups and individuals, alongside taking on private tutoring.

My lessons are structured yet conversational. I begin by discussing the areas where you are struggling most and then cater the lesson towards these topics. The dynamic of the lesson flows in both directions as I am keen to adapt my lesson plans based on your continuous feedback.

My lessons are highly practical and problem based, I will incrementally introduce a small amount of theory before asking you to complete example problems. I will discuss and help with any issues faced when completing these problems and use this information to drive the direction of the remainder of the lesson and to create the focus of the next session.

I am a people person who understands how Maths does not click for a lot of students. I enjoy creating fun sessions that help students build confidence in a subject that is such a challenge.
