Ellary Dioquino

At the start of every first lesson, I would like to establish an understanding of what the students first know. After, I would prepare my lessons based on what they don’t know yet by utilising creative powerpoints, exam questions, blurring and more in order for them to help retain their knowledge. I have had experience tutoring English literature before and would usually go through exam questions from past papers as with the same as History. I believe helping others will help me increase my experience and I have a desire to help others reach their own academic potential and beyond in order for to believe in themselves more/increase their self-esteem as I believe anyone can achieve anything as long as they put in the hard work and effort. I teach Edexcel History and I enjoy teaching the medicine topic and USA topic. I understand all of the History topics and will be able to explain and teach these thoroughly through PowerPoints, visual mindmaps, quizzes and more. I have a passion for History and am willing to help others find that passion too and also help fulfill any remaining goals they have academically. I also have a strong passion for English literature and wouldn’t mind at all if I tutored English literature too. I believe everyone deserves a chance to achieve their academic potential if they’re willing to put in the effort just as I am. Thank you and I hope to see you in one of my lessons one day!
