Ella Phillips

Hi! I’m Ella and I am a student at Cardiff University studying Chinese but I live in London. I grew up in Hong Kong but I am from the UK and Australia. I’ve learnt Mandarin Chinese since primary school and am offering my help to teach this very useful language to anyone: from primary school students to adults, beginners, refreshers or anyone who would like general conversational practise. I’ve found that having a tutor that doesn’t have Chinese as a mother tongue is much more beneficial than one who has grown up and can’t explain why the language is how it is.
