The dynamic I will create will be personalised, professional and successful. By asking for past exams/work and truly gaining an understanding of the students needs I will be able to provide the best possible lesson plans tailored to the student. We will undergo tasks together where we bounce ideas from each other, create ideas and create studying techniques that best suit you. We will also work based off your exam boards curriculum ensuring that by the end of the sessions the student feels comfortable and ready to independently partake in exams or simply just English lessons at school. I myself studied AQA for both GCSE and A-Level ; some pieces specifically being : An Inspector Calls, The Merchant of Venice, Frankenstein, Taming of the shrew, Streetcar Named Desire, The Great Gatsby and A Handmaids tale (alongside 3 poetry anthologies) I have experience volunteering in primary schools; from guided reading to volunteering as an English TA in my secondary school not only to fuel my own passion for english but to ensure I can better the skills of my self whilst learning the best ways to help others.
I understand the turmoil of progressing through the levels of English as one learns to become more independent, take on extra reading, learning how to read and note effectively, how is best to thoroughly analyse and write essays. I wish to encourage my passion for english on to others yet i also understand how to create a helpful and supportive environment for those who don’t necessarily enjoy english.
