When planning lessons, I do so with the student at the centre! Each lesson starts with a recap of any prior learning and lessons. We then move on to building understanding of any content that the student feels is needed. This is done via visual and interactive tools including videos and presentations. At the end of each lesson a task/ questions are set in order to consolidate learning. This is then sent via email or shown in the next session.
I feel it is important to ensure sessions are adapted to the needs of the student and is therefore important to understand how the student learns best and any barriers they need to overcome.
