My lessons are very much guided by you (to ensure you get the most out of it) but I will take the material you want to go through and turn it into engaging lesson plans, approaching the content from exciting and new angles. I find this approach really helps for new and tricky information and ideas to settle into a student’s mind.
I am also able to help with things such as grammar and spelling, utilising techniques that come at content from a different angle
This will help to ensure the child is not only getting the extra support they are not getting in a classroom situation, but also that they’re engaged and enjoying themselves, which makes information stick longer in their mind.
Being neurodivergent myself, I am passionate about helping everyone, and a big believer that no one is “stupid”, everyone has potential and can achieve amazing things. I aim to impart the passion I have for my subjects to my students, in order to foster a love for that subject extending beyond the classroom.
