I am currently a 3rd year Law student. I got As in both my English Language & Literature GCSEs, and in my English Speaking. I also got an A in my English Literature A-Level.
I think it’s important for students to learn and understand in a way that is easiest for them. I can empathise with how frustrating it is to not understand the fundamentals of a subject. That is why with my lessons, I will help you refine your writing, reading, or speaking in a format that is most comfortable with you.
If you learn better using conversations rather than worksheets or videos, then I can tailor my lessons to reach that standard. My main aim is to make you feel more confident with English and begin to enjoy learning it.
I currently create PowerPoint presentations expanding on information that is taught in class. I include exercises to practice during the lesson and follow that up with an explanation of the answers in case there is any confusion. Furthermore, I like my lessons to be fluid. If you seem to be grasping one topic well we can swiftly move on, just like if you seem to be struggling we can take as much time as needed and the following lessons will focus on helping you understand.
