Having taught for over a year, I find my students thrive when we move away from focusing on strictly exams and results and towards incorporating their own interests and allowing their mind to wander around the subject. As a historian, I encourage my students to find sources wherever and employ a variety of materials to stimulate their learning.

For GCSE and A-Level students, I have a wealth of experience helping individuals know exactly how to answer exam papers whilst still enjoying history and politics! I have also taught at summer schools aiming to challenge pupils beyond the curriculum - ideal if you are considering applying for a history degree at university. This not only beneficial for those who are set on a history degree but also for those who are curious! Throughout my experience teaching at GCSE and A-Level age students, having these opportunities to go beyond the specifications of the exam board has only furthered their learning in class as their curiosity continues to be nurtured.

For undergraduate students, I have tutored many to help with how to write first-class essays and helped many first-years get out of the initial slump that happens so often to history students! The jump from A-Levels to a degree is immense and I can assist in making this leap.

For every single one of my students, I encourage open dialogue and zero-judgement when it comes to anything they find difficult and struggling with. My lessons work best when both of us enjoy tackling any issues they face together!
