I teach creative writing in a Russel Group University in the UK. The course I developed is a foundational module introducing creative writing students to literary and cultural theories, demanding both the ability and confidence to teach a diverse range of topics. In planning this course, I focused on developing a learning approach and inclusive teaching methods tailored to first-year university students who might find the prospect of learning complex literary theories intimidating.

You don't have to be a university student to be able to work with me. Anyone who wants to improve their reading, writing and speaking skills in English would benefit from my classes. During our lessons, I will bring in compelling material such as newspaper articles, short stories, video clippings, social media posts, extracts from novels, which will provide information about cultural context. Our lessons are going to be informative and fun. You will learn new vocabulary without memorising. You will discover new creative ways to express yourself in English.

I am an experienced workshop leader in creative writing. I devise and deliver fun and engaging writing workshops and masterclasses in the UK and elsewhere.
