Dynamics: My lessons are rarely passive. I use discussions, debates, and visual tools such as mind maps and flashcards to encourage active participation. I want each and every one of my students to feel comfortable and confident within our lessons, encouraging novel ideas and active learning.
Experience & Approach: With extensive experience (GCSEs, A-levels, a BSc, and an MSc), I combine expert knowledge (First Class BSc (Hons) from Royal Holloway University of London and MSc Health Psychology from University College London) with practical teaching strategies to offer tailored support to each student, depending on their knowledge level, educational milestone, and learning style. I act as a guide, encouraging students to discover answers on their own, fostering both academic excellence and personal growth.
Content: I connect academic material (such as past exam papers and textbook questions) to real-world scenarios, making learning meaningful and practical.
My primary goal is to foster a positive and supportive environment where students feel empowered and capable of taking charge of their learning.
My scheduling is flexible, although as I am an MSc student, I would be unavailable at certain times due to lectures and extra-curricular activities. As I am sure parents and students can understand, extracurriculars play an important role in everyone's academic journey, which is why I am also willing to work around students' timetables.
