My tutoring sessions are all focused on a key aim, according to the students required area of focus. We will explore the subject in depth and ensure that students can fully understand the subject area and provide more information in the topic, as may be necessary in exams. We will use both textbook and real life examples to help improve the students understanding of earth processes.

The session will begin with gaining knowledge in the students pre-existing understanding of the topic and identify areas for improvement and confidence building. This allows a tailored tutoring session to ensure the student is fully confident and skilled in the necessary areas.

The tutoring session shall involve repeated understanding checks throughout the tutoring session to ensure the student is fully engaged and confident with the material covered. This also allows for areas of improvement to be identified and worked upon.

I am experienced in delivering presentations on a wide range of topics within geography. I have presented on areas such as climate change, biodiversity and water systems, for example, to audiences throughout my degree.

We will cover core case studies outlined in the curriculum, and understand how each subject can be related to a key case study, which is crucial for exam preparation. We will also explore other real life examples of social and physical processes on the planet to strengthen the students understanding, as well as provide meaning to the content they are studying. This helps to improve engagement and passion for geography.
