Eleanor Palmer

I have a University degree in Teaching, with a Primary and Early years focus and have recently completed my TEFL training. I currently work as a Houseparent in a Boarding School which I thoroughly enjoy.

I start any teaching journey by learning all about you! Lessons are much better if they are personal, so by learning about your likes, dislikes and learning styles, I will tailor the lessons I teach to best benefit you.

I enjoy engaging and learner led teaching, so enjoy teaching through engaging games - fun has no age limit.
I have taught English comprehension for many years, so will offer reading challenges with questions, the type and style of text we look at together will vary on age - but i will endeavour to make it an engaging text - whether an excerpt from a book, a magazine or even a film.

I aim to do the teaching, but think that learning should be practical and will encourage you to take part, in which ever area you require more practice in, for example speaking through role plays, listening to music or TV excerpts. The more input you give, the higher learning you can take from it.

The lessons should be a bout you! If there something you enjoy from a previous lesson and or want to learn something else, let name know.
