Hi, I’m Ellie, an English tutor with a degree in Religion and Theology from the University of Bristol. I’m passionate about helping students build confidence in their reading, writing, and communication skills - whether they’re preparing for exams or just looking for a little extra support.

I’ve worked in nurseries, primary schools, and volunteered at children’s holiday clubs - both in the UK and abroad- giving me a broad understanding of different learning styles and how to help students thrive. I’m especially experienced in creating a calm, encouraging environment where students feel safe to ask questions, make mistakes, and grow in confidence.

My teaching style is all about adapting to you. I take time to understand how you learn best and tailor each lesson to suit your individual needs. Whether you're a visual learner, a creative thinker, or someone who benefits from breaking things down step-by-step, I’ll work with you to make English feel more accessible and enjoyable.
