Here I learnt the importance of having a fun and joyful class. Keeping students engaged is always the number one priority. Routine is important for younger students. We started with some songs before we discussed our plans for the day ahead. This allowed students to be present with me during the lesson. Of course, some days were harder so for those days we took things slower and ensured all students were comfortable and happy in their lessons. II spoke to my older students about what they were struggling with and they felt comfortable enough to do so with me.
