Eileen Liu

Hi! My name is Eileen, and I am an Economics student at University College London (UCL).

I offer friendly, patient and well-structured lessons for students of different ages and abilities. I teach GCSE Maths and A-level Maths. I am a native Chinese speaker therefore I also offer Mandarin and Cantonese language lessons for learners of all levels, whether you are learning for travel, work, daily conversation, or personal interest.

I believe that understanding concepts is more important than memorising answers. My lessons focus on explaining difficult topics in a simple way, working through examples step by step, and practising exam-style questions to help students achieve their goals. I also provide feedback and can help with homework after lessons during the week, revision planning and exam techniques. Being an university student my time for lessons are also flexible!

As a current university student, I understand the challenges of studying and examinations, and I aim to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions.

I am fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, and lessons can be taught in either English or Chinese. I look forward to helping you achieve your learning goals!
