I am a Chartered Construction and Quantity Surveying professional with over eighteen years of industry experience, and I currently teach T Level Construction at a UK college. This means I bring together two things that matter for your progress: deep, real-world expertise in the built environment, and hands-on classroom experience of helping students succeed in exams and coursework.

I tutor Maths and construction-related subjects for learners at all levels — GCSE and A Level, T Level and BTEC, undergraduate degrees, and professional qualifications such as those in quantity surveying and construction management. Whether you are strengthening your core skills or preparing for a specific assessment, lessons are shaped entirely around your goals.

My teaching is structured, patient and genuinely practical. Every lesson begins by pinpointing what you already do well and where you feel less confident, so our time together targets exactly what you need. I explain ideas clearly and step by step, use plenty of worked examples, and draw on real construction projects to show how the theory actually applies on site and in industry. For Maths, I break problems down into manageable stages and build confidence through regular, focused practice and past-paper work.

Sessions are interactive and relaxed. I ask questions, check understanding as we go, and give honest, encouraging feedback with clear targets for improvement. My priority is that you truly understand the material rather than simply memorise it — that is what leads to lasting confidence and better results.
