Ciao! I’m a native Italian speaker and professional chef offering friendly, relaxed and personalised lessons in both Italian and cooking.
For Italian lessons, my focus is on making the language practical, natural and enjoyable. We can work on conversation, pronunciation, vocabulary, listening, grammar and everyday expressions, adapting everything to your level and what you want to achieve.
I also love using Italian culture to make learning more interesting. We can explore the language through films, TV, songs, music, food and popular culture, learning the expressions and ways of speaking that you don’t always find in textbooks. Whether you’re a complete beginner, preparing for a trip to Italy or simply want to become more confident speaking, lessons can be shaped around you.
For cooking lessons, I bring years of experience working in professional kitchens in London. Although Italian food is naturally a big part of my background, I cook much more than Italian cuisine and can teach a wide range of dishes and techniques.
We can cover Italian classics, pasta and sauces, international dishes, everyday meals, knife skills, preparation, seasoning, presentation and general kitchen techniques. I’ll explain not only what we’re doing but why, sharing useful tips and techniques I’ve learned from professional kitchens.
And if you love both, we can even combine them! We can explore Italian language and culture through food and cooking.
Whether we’re speaking Italian or standing in the kitchen, my approach is the same: relaxed, practical, encouraging and tailored to you. The aim is to learn something genuinely useful while enjoying yourself along the way.
A presto!
