I am currently in my first year of A-levels, and I am taking Maths, Further Maths, Computer Science, and English Literature. I am passionate about GCSE tutoring, and I already have 6 months of experience doing face-to-face sessions in maths and English, and so far I have helped students raise their grades significantly (e.g. from a grade four and three to two grade sixes), and have expressed that my assistance in explaining exam structures and going through questions is the most helpful, along with revision tips, suggestions of online resources, and direct feedback for answered questions.
I attained ten GCSEs at grade 9, and I wish to use my academic abilities to help students: providing assistance in homework, exam prep, and revision. I also like to connect with students who are sitting the same GCSE exams as I recently did, and share first hand knowledge from my experience which can benefit them.
While I'm more experienced with in-person tutoring, I can provide online sessions if it is the student's preference or the commute is too far. I’m most flexible at the weekend, but sessions after school in the week can be arranged if necessary.
I am looking to tutor ambitious students who want to take their studies into their own hands and attain the best grades possible. My current students are all in year 10-11 and are working hard in their GCSE studies.
