Edgar Garay

I am a graduate of the University of Massachusetts. I received my Bachelor of Arts in History and Art History. I’m a native Spanish Speaker born in Colombia, South America. I have traveled through most of South America and lived for two years in Granada, Spain. I currently live in the state of Massachusetts.
I have been Spanish tutor for over 4 years. I specialize in adult learners, I teach introduction and intermediate Spanish for adults, and conversational Spanish for every level and age. I am familiar with the specific challenges of adult learners. I also like to teach them, most of the time they have a clear objective when they want to learn Spanish, that way we can focus the lessons and homework towards this objective.
My degree in History and broad knowledge of the Hispanic culture, allows me to engage in meaningful conversations about literature, music, art, history, politics, and more. Whether is about Jorge Luis Borges or Garcia Marquez, Piazzolla or Paco de Lucia, the Inquisition or even about Messi, we will always have interesting topics to debate learning together in the process.
