Welcome to my profile! As a passionate student who adored maths and english during school, I relay this enthusiasm for learning in my lessons. Having tutored for both mathematics and English for the last 3 years (Primary school maths and english, 11+ exam preparation and GCSE maths), I am confident I can help your child achieve thier goals and grow more confident in their subject!

I bring a strong academic foundation and a deep appreciation for mathematics and english to my sessions. I adapt to the learning style of my students and tailoring each session from scratch to their needs, getting to know them first and formulating a study plan that will be the most effective. Since i started tutoring, I have been able to help numerous students find a deeper understanding within maths and work towards achieving their target grades in final exams. I tutor because i love it, not because i have to, and believe this translates over in my teaching.

I have worked with students from year 4 to year 11 . I initially started and continue to teach primary school children in maths and english, including those of 11+ and entrance exam levels. Through my A-levels, I began tutoring secondary school students up to GCSE level in Mathematics and have had a consistent combination of students from both sets of abilities for the last 3 years. I received A's in both my GCSE's and A-level's and passed the 11+ exams with flying colours, and thus have used this experience in my teaching over the last 3 years.

In my teaching, warmth and encouragement are the cornerstones of my approach. I believe in creating a nurturing environment where my students know it is okay to make mistakes and come to me for help. No matter their level or confidence in the area, we will adapt the lessons to the teaching style that suits them best. Whether we're diving into complex grammar or breaking down a mathematical equation, I strive to teach with enthusiasm and patience in every lesson. By drawing connections between everyday experiences and the things we are studying, I try to make even the most abstract topics easier to comprehend. This not only keeps my students engaged but also helps them see the practical applications of what they're learning.
