I have been teaching English and Maths in a college setting for the last 2 years or so. I gained a lot of experience teaching online, due to the COVID situation in the UK and I would now like to use this experience to assist student within an online setting more regularly. I have taught students aged 16-65, who are from all different types of professional settings. As such, I have needed to adopt my lesson to suit the needs of the learners in each class. During the past two years I have had to teach student online, mainly due to the lockdown situation during the pandemic period. This period helped me to gain great knowledge in adapting my lessons to suit the needs of my learners within an online setting. Lessons and resources can be easily adapted to suit learners, no matter how proficient their IT skills may be. I have been teaching students across level 1 and 2 functional skills for both English and Maths.
