I'm a final year Psychological and Behavioural Sciences student at St. Edmund's College, University of Cambridge.

I'm completing this degree as one of the first steps on a long journey to becoming a clinical psychologist for the NHS. I'm also currently gaining work experience as a Healthcare Assistant, meaning I spend a lot of time with people suffering the real-world consequences of mental ill health, and will be working as an Assistant Psychologist after my graduation this summer!

I have plenty of experience tutoring international students for Oxbridge admissions interviews and applications, specifically for courses pertaining to psychology.

We can structure your lessons however is best for you; each student learns differently, and everyone has a unique learning style. In our first hour together we can chat about your goals, interests, and favourite ways to learn; we can then use that information to come up with a plan for how to get you where you need to be.

Important skills you'll need to take your interest in psychology further include critical thinking, the ability to evaluate research and literature, and knowledge of what constitutes good science and proper experimental methodology.

Studying a degree in psychology (especially at Oxbridge) will need you to be confident giving short presentations, completing independent research tasks and writing essays about what you found, critiquing studies and research papers, and completing timed essays to mimic your admissions exams. There are a wide range of techniques we can use to hone these abilities, and your lessons with me will make sure you feel confident, ready and prepared.
