I am a soon-to-be graduate with a BSc (Hons) in Pharmacology who is progressing onto a scientific research career. I am eager to combine my academic background in molecular and cellular biology with an enthusiasm for education and student development.

Throughout my undergraduate studies I have developed a strong foundation in pharmacology, molecular biology, physiology, biochemistry and scientific research. My academic training has strengthened my scientific understanding and my ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively. Additionally, my forthcoming postgraduate research career will further refine my scientific literacy and scientific comminication skills.

I am highly motivated to support students in developing both confidence and enthusiasm for biology. I value a teaching approach that is adaptable, engaging and tailored to the individual needs of each learner. Whether helping students strengthen core knowledge, prepare for examinations or develop scientific reasoning skills I aim to encourage scientific curiosity and independent thinking.

I believe my combination of advanced subject knowledge, research experience and enthusiasm for education would allow me to make a valuable contribution as a biology tutor. I see tutoring as an opportunity to complement my postgraduate studies while helping prospective scientists achieve their academic goals.
